Working Together to Transform AI Education

Co-creation is at the heart of the JC GoAI Project. We believe the best AI education begins with teachers and schools, rather than a top-down approach. We work side by side educators so they have the agency and ownership to shape what AI learning looks like in their classrooms. Our goal is sustainability. That means equipping teachers with the skills, confidence, and mindset to keep driving innovation long after the project ends. Together, we’re building a future-ready education system that grows from the ground up, delivering teaching resources that are grounded in foundational principles, developmentally progressive, and focused on practical, innovative application.

Collaborative Expertise in Resource Development

Our learning and teaching resources are the result of a dedicated co-creation process involving over 40 passionate co-design teachers and 20 education experts. This development is led by a team of distinguished scholars from the Faculty of Education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, including Prof. NG Oi Lam, Prof. POON Ming Kay, Prof. ZHOU Sihan, Prof. CHU Ming Chung, Prof. Suzannie LEUNG, and Prof. Sally WAN. By blending high-level academic guidance with the practical classroom experience of frontline educators, we ensure that our exemplary resources are pedagogically sound, practical, and tailored for local teaching contexts.

Insights from our Co-design Partners

JC GoAI Project truly values educators’ voices. We work with international and local subject experts to co-design lessons, understand the challenges we face in classrooms, and create practical solutions together. The project ensures that the AI Education Framework is not only grounded in theory but also meets the real needs of teachers and students.

What makes this project unique is its integration of AI across multiple subjects in both primary and secondary schools, including Chinese, English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities. Rather than limiting AI to computer or technical lessons, the project focuses on transforming teaching practices and enhancing AI literacy, enabling students to use AI tools meaningfully and ethically in real learning contexts.
